Pricing for Shopify dropshippers - discount only your margin, never below cost
If you don't hold inventory, a normal discount can wipe out your profit. Discount Prime runs discounts that come out of your margin only - never below cost - reprices from supplier cost + markup in one action, and keeps a guaranteed minimum profit on every sale.

Why dropshippers need margin-based pricing
Dropshippers mark up supplier prices and live on thin margins, so a flat percentage off the selling price can quietly turn a sale into a loss. Discount Prime is built around your real product costs: discounts are taken out of your profit margin, not your cost, and a profit floor (cost + a minimum profit you choose) is enforced on the final price. When a supplier raises prices, you reprice from cost + markup in one click - no editing products one by one.

Dropshipper pricing FAQ
What is a margin-only discount?
Instead of cutting a flat percentage off the selling price, the discount is taken out of your profit margin only. For example, 20% off the margin on a $500 product with cost might land at $480 - never touching your cost.
Can I reprice from supplier cost?
Yes. Set selling price = cost + a markup percentage or fixed amount, and re-run it across your catalog any time supplier costs change.
Will it ever sell below cost?
No. A profit floor of cost plus a minimum profit you choose is enforced on the final price for every product.
What happens to products without a cost set?
You choose: apply the discount on the selling price instead, or skip those products - so missing costs never cause a loss.
Can I run a clearance without losing money?
Yes. A clearance rule can give away up to a share of your margin to move inventory while still staying above cost.
