What is a Sub-Processor?

Changes to Sub-Processors

Per our Data Processing Addendum, we will notify you of any intended changes to sub-processors at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Notifications are sent via email to the address associated with your Shopify store.

If you object to a new sub-processor, you may contact us at support@discountprime.app within that period. If we cannot accommodate your objection, you may terminate the affected services.

Data Transfer Mechanisms

For transfers of personal data from the EEA/UK to countries without an adequacy decision (e.g., United States), we rely on:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): Approved by the European Commission, these contractual terms ensure adequate protection for personal data.
  • Adequacy Decisions: Where available (e.g., Canada is deemed adequate by the EU).
  • Additional Safeguards: Encryption, pseudonymization, and access controls.
