Data Transfer Mechanisms
For transfers of personal data from the EEA/UK to countries without an adequacy decision (e.g., United States), we rely on:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): Approved by the European Commission, these contractual terms ensure adequate protection for personal data.
- Adequacy Decisions: Where available (e.g., Canada is deemed adequate by the EU).
- Additional Safeguards: Encryption, pseudonymization, and access controls.
